Popular Wedding Ribbon Colours So Far This Year

We are asked a lot by our customers as to what's in vogue and what's not in terms of ribbon colours and in particular wedding shades.         This is always quite subjective and varies over the seasons quite a lot, so can be quite difficult to give a definite answer.

However from our perspective we see a number of shades which remain a constant in terms of sales for wedding use and always seem popular among our customers. These and include some classics such as Cream, Bridal White, Lilac and Silver Grey.

Greenery By Pantone The New Colour For 2017

However with the 2017 season and Pantone stating this years colour is Greenery we have seen a move towards some great shades of green ranging from mint through to emerald being incorporated in to wedding ribbon themes.

Pantone state there definition of the new shade Greenery as being " Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew. Illustrative of flourishing foliage and the lushness of the great outdoors, the fortifying attributes of Greenery signals consumers to take a deep breath, oxygenate and reinvigorate."*

Popular Green Ribbon Shades

Below we have illustrated a couple of our green shades similar to greenery, together with other green shades that have been a popular wedding ribbon choices so far this year. The leafy green colour has been a good choice for wedding ribbon work as it works very well with a number of other shades, even some quite surprising ones in our option.

Which Satin Ribbon Colours Compliment Greenery

We have seen these shades complemented well with some of the ribbon classics such as White, Bridal White and Pearl, but they also partner very nicely along sides such as Silver, Lupin and Pale Pink to mention a few,

We have also seen these colours used together in a number of large wedding ribbon features such as ribbon backdrops and ribbon curtains and the look achieved has been quite spectacular.
