Posting During The Industrial Action

Please not if you require ribbons prior to Christmas please can we ask you to order these on DPD Carrier Option at the end of the checkout - Royal Mail seems to be in such chaos that we can not have confidence that there Tracked services will deliver in time.

For those without a time sensative delivery we are leaving the Royal Mail Option on as requested by some customers.

As we are all actually aware I am sure, the current industrial action by postal workers is causing absolute chaos.

Normally we dispatch all of our smaller parcels to customers via Royal Mail on 24hr tracked and 48hr tracked services. However we have become actually aware that in some areas of the country parcels are taking over two weeks to arrive.

We were originally told that priority was being given to account tracked parcel and next day guaranteed deliveries however this still seems to be an issue in a large number of areas.

Our Solution...

We have worked hard to try and turn round all orders as quickly as possible in order to get them in to the dispatch system within 24hr to 48hrs. 

We have also reintroduced a carrier option for customer which is operated with DPD. Whilst this is more expensive and is a flat rate of £7.95 it does mean that your parcel should be delivered the next working day ( after dispatch by us). 

We have tried to keep this price as low as we can, the charge we make just represents the cost charged to us plus envelop.

The advantage of this option is that you will get e mail or text notifications from DPD telling you your parcel is on the way and giving you an hours delivery slot on the day of delivery. You can also track your parcel through every step of its journey.

 

Royal Mail Option...

If your parcel is not time sensitive then you can still choose the Royal Mail delivery option. When you select this service we will send your goods on a tracked service. However we must point out that they currently do not seem to be scanning the parcels at all the depots so it will not give you live information until reaches a destination such as a regional hub.

 

Selecting Your Preferred Method Of Delivery...

Please note that you will not be able to select the carrier option for postage until you get to the bottom of the checkout.

Once you have filled in all your address details and before it asks you for card information the checkout will present you with two options for dispatch. The default will be Royal Mail and underneath this you will see the option to up grade to Carrier.
