We are now among one of the largest UK family owned wholesale stockiest of UK and European ribbon ranges and boast a stock holding of in excess of 40,000 reels of ribbon in our warehouse located on the Welsh / Shropshire Boarder. We are family owned and operated firm and take great pride on being able to deliver a high quality, fast and efficient service for all our customers.

Our aim is to maintain a wide range of Ribbons covering all styles and widths. As a result we hold stock to cater for most occasions, production needs, events and projects.

Our products & Services

On the web site we have listed our most popular ribbon ranges among which you will find a good offering of Satin Ribbons, Tartan Ribbons, Sheer Ribbons, Taffeta Ribbons, Grosgrain Ribbons, Baby & Birthday Ribbons as well as themed ribbons for occasions such as Christmas or Ribbons for Weddings.

We can offer commercial services such as cut lengths, as well as pre packing individual cut lengths and printing on to the ribbon. In addition to these services we will also try and colour match sample for you if you post them in to us, this is a service that we do for many of our customers both large and small.

How do we manage to keep our prices low and keen ? This is something that we are asked by many of our customers, the answer is simple by locating ourselves away from the high street, and off the beaten track we can keep our overheads low and pass on our savings and purchase discounts directly to our customers. Our business is web and mail order based, as such we are geared up to dispatch your goods swiftly by Interlink Express, Parcel Force or Royal Mail which ever is most appropriate.

All goods are dispatched on recorded services and can be tracked at any time for your peace of mind.

Which Ribbons Do We Use & Why ?

After many years of supplying Ribbons from around the world to a wide range of customers we have fine tuned our suppliers down to a hand full of companies whom we find can offer a very reliable and constant manufacturing service. As a result over 70% of the ribbons that we stock and sell are now made in the United kingdom!

It is often argued that Cheaper product can be sourced from Taiwan, China and Mexico which is very true however these all have two major down sides, the first is that we don't in effect have any control over the production quality of these ribbons and the second is that the shipping lead time is not user friendly. 
If we have a customer who needs 500 reels of ribbon and we only have 300 in stock then they don't want to have to wait at least eight weeks for the 200 shortfall to arrive in to the UK by container ship.

By using UK manufactured ribbons we can keep a constant eye on the quality whilst only having to wait for a couple of days at most for call down stock to arrive in to our warehouse when we have a shortage for a customer order, In addition as a family owned business we know the importance of buying British and will always try and source UK manufactured product first to help secure UK jobs.

One of our main manufacturing partners is Berisfords Ribbons based in Congleton in Cheshire. As Premium Ribbon Manufacturer they can give us the confidence and guarantees that our customers demand and require. For example all there ribbons conform to :

Additional Information 

In addition to our full and part time staff that work with us in the warehouse we have this year adopted a new recruit to our team
pictured below is Misty our newest member at Simply Ribbons, playing with our 13 year old failed sheep dog flossy. Both dogs are good friends not only with each other but also with all the delivery drivers that visit us each day and get spoilt by customers calling at our warehouse!
